Social data apps integrate Eloqua with leading social media sites, applications and services. Apps, such as Klout, let marketers access and manipulate social information either externally or within the Eloqua database.

Using the Klout connector you can quickly determine the social influence of people in your database. Based on their Twitter handle, the Klout connector returns their “Klout Score”, a calculation of how followed, read, and re-tweeted this person is.

This insight can help you differentiate between regular readers of your content and the highly influential advocates that are widely read in the community at large, and allow you to cater your messages accordingly.
